The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a world leader in future-focused education and has a hard-earned reputation for the highest standards of teaching, instructional leadership, and student achievement. NIS is proud to be China's most established IB World School and Continuum School.
Service
NIS actively engages with local organisations and aims to provide our students with opportunities to give back and learn from our community.
Service is an established part of our IB school curriculum for all grade levels. We believe that involving oneself in and out of school in service activities adds to one's personal excellence and further develops NIS as an inclusive learning community. NIS actively aims to provide our students with opportunities to engage in Service.
Students in Grade 6 to 10 have a bespoke Service class where they work on on projects linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Service groups are encouraged to participate within NIS, locally, nationally, and internationally.
