Social media can influence our behaviours, and this central idea is the basis behind our Grade 9 Humanities unit on Population, where students carried out research, analysis, and created their own mock social media campaigns to make a difference.
Our Grade 10 Drama Showcase was another thought-provoking and powerful performance. Over a period of 3 months, students explored different forms of racism, discrimination, and disempowerment to produce a powerful play that raises awareness and challenges prejudice.
The halls were alive with the sound of music for Music in the Foyer! A talented ensemble of Primary students took to the stage in front of our library before their peers, parents, and NIS staff.
Following their interests in a unit called “Exploring Our World”, Nanjing International School Pre-K and K1 students were given the fantastic opportunity to visit Nanjing’s Yangshan Lake Fire Station.
