iPad Information
Required Apps and Set Up for Parent-Owned iPads
All new parents will bring the iPad their child will use to the parent training session that happens during the first couple weeks of school. The IT department will work with parents during this hands-on workshop to download all required free NIS apps and teach parents how to set up folders to make the iPad ready for learning. Parents will take the iPads home for the weekend to finish preparing them for learning at NIS (this is so that parents are better able to manage them at home).
For all G2-4 NIS students and returning parents, NIS will offer a workshop on the Friday after the new parent session to review and refresh you on similar management of the iPad, and provide time to go over the iPad set up for learning.
Bring your child’s iPad to the IT information session.
