Purpose: the yearning to do what we do in the service of something larger than ourselves. -Daniel Pink

NIS actively engages with local community organisations and aims to provide NIS students with opportunities to contribute to and learn from the local Chinese culture. Service is an established part of the school curriculum in PYP, MYP and DP. We believe that involving yourself in and out of school in service activities adds to one's personal excellence and further develops NIS as an inclusive community.
