Counselling

Our holistic counselling programme is proactive in nature, focusing on the academic and social-emotional development of the whole child.

Our Counselling team provides support for students, parents and teachers through observation, consultation, small group, 1:1 counselling, guidance lessons and workshops. Support is tailored for the developmental stage of the student and builds awareness in the following areas: communication and relationships, self-awareness, self-regulation, identity, and wellness. Completing the journey into life after NIS, our University Counselling helps guide students to their choice of best-fit university or next step.

We strongly believe in confidentiality. Our Counselling team practice “What happens here, stays here.” The only time we break confidentiality is if someone says they will hurt themselves or someone else, or if someone is in danger. We want students, parents and teachers to feel like it is a safe place to open up.
