Service Learning
Service is an established part of our IB school curriculum for all grade levels. We believe that involving oneself in and out of school in service activities adds to one's personal excellence and further develops NIS as an inclusive community.
Students in Grade 6 to 10 spend one block every cycle in a bespoke Service class working on projects linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Service groups are encouraged to participate within NIS, locally, nationally, and internationally.
