NIS Wins International School Award

Mr. McLellan was in London for the International School Awards 2020 event on January 20. The panel of 14 judges was chaired by Emeritus Professor Jeff Thompson CBE, University of Bath. NIS was shortlisted for the Strategic Leadership Initiative Award. Our Initiative was described as ‘An initiative designed to transform learning and develop talent by focusing on strategy, embedding it around the key ideas of inclusion, creative thinking and personal excellence which has led to student-centered improvements including a student-led inquiry programme, partnerships with industry, and the development of service-driven social enterprise.’ NIS was the only China-based school to win an award.
