NIS Podcast: New IB MYP Coordinator: Jade Bennett

Join us as we get to know Nanjing International School's new IB MYP Coordinator and English Language and Literature Teacher, Ms. Jade Bennett.

“My favorite thing about the MYP is the emphasis on all different aspects of learning. It’s not just completely about being knowledgeable and knowing every fact – it’s more about the whole child, and I think that’s really important.”

Ms. Bennett currently works at an international school in Beijing where she has been both PYP and MYP coordinator over the past 15 years. She has a B.Ed. from University of New Brunswick and a B.A. in English Language from Cape Breton University, Canada. Ms. Bennett has previously worked in schools in Canada. She will join NIS with her husband Mr. Adam Harrold and their two children. Ms. Bennett is Canadian.

Nanjing International School is excited to welcome 18 new faculty into our inclusive learning community for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. This diverse, knowledgeable, and passionate group joins us across our Primary and Secondary school sections, with many exciting additions in counselling, learning support, and teaching in PYP, MYP, and the DP. These professionals complete our fully staffed faculty of 91 educators from 20 different nationalities for 2022-23.
