Announcing Our New Director of Learning

After an in-depth search that attracted interest from candidates in education around the world, we are excited to announce that Ms. Sandra Chow will be our next NIS Director of Learning / Deputy Director starting in August 2024.

Ms. Chow comes to us from Keystone Academy in Beijing, where she has worked as their Director of Digital and Innovative Learning since 2018. With over 20 years of teaching experience in her native Canada and in China, Ms. Chow is a skilled and energetic educator passionate about learning, innovation and expanding the horizons of education.

As a leader, Ms. Chow strives to prepare students and train educators to learn, teach, collaborate and create in a globally competitive society.

We thank all of our final candidates, who not only brought a wealth of experience and expertise during their campus visit – they were each committed to our school's values and approach to education. The insights gained from these sessions and community feedback played a crucial role in shaping the final decision.
