New Families Join us on E-Day 2024-25

One of our favourite days of the school year is Enrolment Day.

At the start of each semester, we formally welcome new families from across China and around the world into our inclusive learning community. Over 80 new students and their families joined us for an exciting and informative morning of orientation and celebration at E-Day 2024-25. Our school community came together to ensure that our newest arrivals had a smooth and enjoyable first day, with representatives from every area of NIS in attendance, from our whole school Counseling Team to Activities, IT, food, and much more.

Our friendly student ambassadors were present to support and share their knowledge and school spirit – each helping their new classmates as they navigate their first days at NIS with tours and information sessions. This was a great way for new students to connect with peers of all ages and experience the inclusive and welcoming culture of our school from day one.

NIS is unique to Nanjing in that we have rolling admissions, which means that students and families can enrol at any time during the school year. This allows us to provide an even more inclusive, welcoming, and convenient admissions experience and environment for students and families who may be moving to Nanjing at different times. We understand that transitioning to a new school can be daunting, and make sure that our new families feel supported and valued from the moment they arrive.
