The Addams Family Comes to NIS

They’re creepy, they’re kooky…and they were a hit!

This year, our Secondary School proudly presented The Addams Family musical, and it was nothing short of a spectacular, sold-out success. With over 60 students involved in every aspect of the production—performing, playing in the band, working in technical theatre, designing hair and makeup, building sets, creating props and managing publicity – it was a true team effort that showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our school community.

Highlights of the production included captivating performances from our soloists, whose powerful vocals and emotional delivery left a lasting impression. The acting and dancing were equally remarkable, with students bringing humour, energy, and precision to each scene, keeping the audience entertained from start to finish.

The impressive technical aspects of the show also stood out, creating an unforgettable visual experience. A massive digital screen provided dynamic backdrops that transported the audience into the Addams' world. At the same time, dry ice effects added an eerie, atmospheric touch that enhanced the spooky, yet playful, tone of the production.

This production of The Addams Family was a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work, collaboration, and creativity. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved and are grateful for the incredible support from our school and community.
