SCISAC Football Tournament Kicks Off at NIS

The NIS community welcomed 5 schools to participate in the South China International School Athletics Conference (SCISAC) U15 Football Tournament. They came from Macau, Hong Kong, Chongqing, Xiamen, and Hangzhou with over 140 student-athletes and coaches taking part on our wonderful campus. A total of 40 games were played over the 3 days, culminating in a competitive Finals where each school competed to finish as high as they could. Our teams both finished in the top 3, with our Girls coming in 2nd and Boys 3rd. It was a great way to end the football season!

“These events are about competition, collaboration and connection,” said Mr. Ben Dutton, NIS Athletics Director. “They’re also about giving students and coaches the opportunity to make new friends and wonderful memories.”
