Our Fantastic NIS Welcome BBQ
We celebrated our inclusive learning community with food, fun, and family at the annual NIS Welcome BBQ Party. The BBQ was a big success with over 300 in attendance at the beautiful Westin Resort & Spa Hotel at the Nanjing Garden Expo.
The event featured a delicious barbecue feast and beverages prepared by the Westin, with access to all their pools, including a huge outdoor fun pool. In addition, we had games for children run by our main school charity, the Pfrang Association. Students and parents alike were thrilled with the magic performances, as well as many other exciting activities, including face painting and arts and crafts.
With lots of laughs, love, and joy, our inclusive learning community bid farewell to the summer months and welcomed an inspiring school year ahead.

NIS Music Camp activities always serve as an important kickoff to the performance season, allowing students to get a sense of the repertoire they will be exposed to during the year and giving new members a chance to get to know their music peers.

Beyond rankings and acceptance letters, NIS Higher Education Night explored what student success really means: helping students build ownership, curiosity, resilience and integrity while discovering pathways that reflect who they are.

Science is rarely confined to a single subject – and neither are the challenges our students are learning to solve!
Our NIS Collaborative Science Project brought together Grade 12 Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students in interdisciplinary teams to investigate real-world scientific scenarios based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
