NIS Winter Wonderland: Winter Charity Festival 2024

The spirit of giving, kindness, and belonging is such a big part of our inclusive NIS community. Outside of the classroom, one of the best places you can see this is during school events like the Winter Charity Festival. As the holidays and school vacation knock at our door, it’s a time for us to celebrate this wonderful time of year with delicious food, dazzling entertainment, a sprawling bazaar, and inspiring student performances – all to raise funds for charity.

Winter Charity Festival 2024 at NIS was our biggest and best yet! With over 500 members of our community in attendance, we raised more than 50,000 RMB for our school charities – 30% more than last year! All funds will go to benefit the Pfrang Association and Hopeful Hearts, both of which help children in need.

Many thanks to all our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who came and helped to make this a truly special event. Happy Holidays to all!

The Pfrang Association is a non-profit charity dedicated to providing funds to enable underprivileged children in Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces to attain an education.

We partner with the Amity Foundation, a Chinese charity , to deliver a shared mission to promote the social welfare of young people in Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces.

Hopeful Hearts is a non-profit charity run by a team of expat and local Chinese volunteers. Their aim is to raise funds to provide life-saving heart surgeries for children of low-income Chinese families.
