NIS Winter Charity Festival 2025

The Nanjing International School community came together for our annual Winter Charity Festival, transforming the Performing Arts Centre into a lively celebration of connection, giving and the holiday spirit. The event welcomed students, families, staff, and friends for an afternoon of festive cheer with a shared commitment to giving back.

The Winter Charity Festival kicked off with student performances from Primary and Secondary, setting a warm and joyful tone that showcased the talent, confidence, and collaboration of our student musicians. Families explored a wide range of community-run stalls offering handmade crafts, baked goods, games, and creative experiences. Activities like the lucky draw, face painting, and a festive photo area proved especially popular.

This year’s Winter Charity Festival once again proudly supported our main school charity, the Pfrang Association – an organisation committed to providing education to underprivileged children in Jiangsu and Anhui. Through ticket sales, stalls, games, performances, and donations, the NIS community rallied together to support this important cause, raising over 40,000 RMB.

The success of the 2025 Winter Charity Festival was made possible by the generosity and dedication of so many in our inclusive learning community. We extend sincere thanks to our student, parent, and staff volunteers as well as our community partners. Together, they helped create a joyful afternoon with a meaningful purpose – one that reflects the compassion and spirit of the NIS community!
