Welcoming 30 New Families on Enrolment Day

Nanjing International School successfully hosted its Semester 2 Enrolment Day for 2023-24. With the lowest student turnover in recent years, our school warmly welcomed 30 new families into our inclusive learning community. Enrolment Day is one of our school’s signature programmes for parents and students, combining orientation with personalised support that helps them feel at home from their very first day.

"Extending a helping hand, offering a warm smile, and being ready to help new families feel a sense of belonging is our goal as a community,” said Mr. Laurie McLellan, School Director.

This sentiment was reflected in the day's events, where representatives from every department, as well as counsellors and student ambassadors, were on hand to offer support and guidance to the new families. These efforts help to ensure a smooth transition for newcomers and fulfill our school's commitment to an inclusive environment.

We can’t wait to see where their inspiring learning journeys will take them at NIS!
