NIS Robotics Team Invited to the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship

Congratulations to Team 84236D, who have been invited to compete at the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, USA — the pinnacle of student robotics competition.

This invitation reflects not only the strength of Nanjing International School’s Design programme, but also the dedication, creative thinking, and personal excellence demonstrated by our students. Our students earned this invitation by winning a competition to build a robot inspired by local cultural significance and to produce an outstanding video showcasing its design, cultural meaning, and collaborative development.

Over the years, NIS has proudly hosted and participated in numerous VEX Robotics tournaments, earning many awards along the way. This year’s invitation marks an exciting milestone for our community, as it is the first time an NIS team has been invited to the prestigious VEX Robotics World Championship.

Congratulations again to Team 84236D on this remarkable achievement, and to their Coach, NIS Design Teacher Mr. Ken Brady – we can’t wait to see what you accomplish on the world stage.
