The Grade 5 PYP Exhibition at NIS is a powerful celebration of learning – bringing together months of inquiry, research, reflection, and growth into one culminating experience. As the capstone of the IB Primary Years Programme, the Exhibition empowers students to explore issues and opportunities of personal significance, applying the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they have developed throughout their PYP journey at NIS.

This year’s Exhibition was a true showcase of Student Voice and Student Choice. From investigations into nutrition and sleep, to the impact of artificial intelligence on jobs and fashion, to innovations inspired by animal abilities and inclusive communities, each project reflected deep curiosity and meaningful connections to the real world. Students communicated their understanding in creative and compelling ways, demonstrating not only what they learned, but how they think, collaborate, and take action.

More than a final project, the PYP Exhibition is a moment of confidence and possibility. It is where learners begin to see themselves as capable of making a difference – locally and globally. As our Grade 5 students take their next steps into Grade 6 and the IB Middle Years Programme, they do so with a strong sense of agency, purpose, and belief in their ability to shape the world around them.
