NIS Orchestra Music Camp Kicks off Performance Season
The NIS Orchestra held its start-of-year Music Camp at school. Camp activities always serve as an important kickoff to the performance season, allowing students to get a sense of the repertoire they will be exposed to during the year and giving new members a chance to get to know their music peers.
Through icebreaker and networking activities, music games, ensemble and large-group rehearsals, our student-musicians began to build the collaborative spirit and listening skills that will guide their development as young artists and performers.
"It was a fantastic evening," said Mike McHugh, Secondary Music Teacher. "It helped set the tone for what we're sure will be another hugely successful year ahead."

Beyond rankings and acceptance letters, NIS Higher Education Night explored what student success really means: helping students build ownership, curiosity, resilience and integrity while discovering pathways that reflect who they are.

Our NIS Collaborative Science Project brought together Grade 12 Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students in interdisciplinary teams to investigate real-world scientific scenarios based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
