NIS From Above
NIS is the only independent, non-profit international school in Nanjing, which means all our resources go into providing the best teachers, opportunities, and facilities for our students. Our purpose-built, LEED-certified campus is one of the best ways to see our non-profit status in action – we continually invest in the future of our school community by renovating and upgrading our facilities every school year.
The 85,800sqm grounds of NIS offer a wide range of developmentally appropriate facilities, including an outdoor FIFA-approved full-length football field with a 400m track, two gymnasiums, multiple playgrounds, a 540-seat theatre, indoor swimming pools, and a centralized, innovative learning HUB.

The new HUB at NIS, already a fantastic space for student and faculty learning, recently hosted the first ParentED session for our parents. ParentED offers the NIS community greater opportunities to learn more about our innovative approach to international education.
