NIS Celebrates Outstanding 2026 IB Results

Nanjing International School is proud to celebrate the latest achievements of the Class of 2026.

This year's graduates achieved an outstanding average IB Diploma score of 35 points – well above the global average of 30 – alongside a 100% pass rate. In addition, two-thirds of our diploma graduates earned the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma, reflecting both academic excellence and the multilingual, multicultural environment that defines learning at NIS. An average of 35 represents a highly competitive academic standard internationally and is broadly comparable to the level of achievement expected from students earning top A Level grades or a strong portfolio of AP courses and exams for admission to top universities.

These results are the culmination of years of curiosity, perseverance, and meaningful relationships with teachers and peers. While we celebrate the exceptional outcomes, we are equally proud of the inspiring, creative, and internationally minded young people our graduates have become.

At NIS, we believe that outstanding academic achievement grows from an inclusive learning community where every student is known, challenged and supported to reach their full potential. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 – we can't wait to see the difference you make in the world!
