NIS 24-Hour Robotics Challenge

The NIS Robotics Club is all fired up for the 2025-26 competition season, having kick-started their year with a 24-hour build challenge.  Starting straight after school, 8 teams made up of 37 students from Grades 8-12 worked hard for 24 hours over the course of two days to design, build, code, and ultimately battle their robots.

The new global VEX Competition season, “Push-Back,” presents a unique challenge, requiring students to apply their engineering, coding, and creative thinking skills to build robots to a high standard. After 24 gruelling hours, our teams competed fiercely to determine the NIS Varsity Robotics Team. Supported by parents, family members, teachers, and coaches, the contest was a spectacular and very close one, with the eventual winners, Team 84236C, being crowned Varsity Champions. Congratulations to Sungjune, Gregory, Steven, Junsu, and Yichen.

We look forward to a successful 2025-26 season, with the NIS Championships and Regional Qualifying event being held at NIS in November!
