From Early Years to Primary and even our parents, hands-on learning surrounding the fast-approaching Chinese Lunar New Year is in full swing at our school. It’s all part of the international mindedness that helps make us uniquely NIS! From cooking in our learning kitchens to character writing, crafting vibrant paper, artwork, and horse drawings that have transformed the HUB Lobby, our inclusive community was connected by curiosity, culture, and celebration. NIS Music Camp activities always serve as an important kickoff to the performance season, allowing students to get a sense of the repertoire they will be exposed to during the year and giving new members a chance to get to know their music peers.

Science is rarely confined to a single subject – and neither are the challenges our students are learning to solve!
Our NIS Collaborative Science Project brought together Grade 12 Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students in interdisciplinary teams to investigate real-world scientific scenarios based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
