Humanising Pedagogy

During our Professional Learning Days, Nanjing International School launched the Humanising Pedagogy framework – an ongoing professional learning journey designed to reimagine how we teach, learn, and connect across our diverse community. Through dialogue, reflection, and collaborative inquiry, staff engaged with key ideas around reflective and responsive practice, which fosters resilience and joy, building a shared language for inclusion and care.

As we continue this journey, Humanising Pedagogy will guide our collective work to ensure that every learner at NIS feels seen, heard, and valued – not just for what they know, but for who they are.
