Early Years Field Day

Each spring, our Early Years looks forward to Field Day – an exciting morning of fitness and fun for our youngest students and their parents. Children from 3 to 6 worked together with Physical Education faculty to choose this year’s activities and organise the event. From obstacle courses to freeze tag, relay races to junior bowling and basketball, Early Years students rotated through a variety of activities that showcased the physical skills and learning they had developed over the course of the school year. Motor control, speed, strength, and flexibility all came together as children teamed up with each other and their parents. The morning ended with a lovely family picnic lunch out on our beautiful campus lawn to celebrate obstacles conquered, races won, and memories made.
