Community, Caring, and Coffee!
We were delighted to connect with our parent community through the first PTA Coffee Morning of 2024-25. Both new and returning parents packed our cafe in Skyways@The Centre, a NIS family favorite. It was amazing to see one of our best-ever turnouts for a coffee morning!
PTA Coffee Mornings at Nanjing International School are a wonderful, inclusive opportunity for parents to come together, learn, and form connections. With school leadership and representatives from across the school in attendance, these relaxed meetings in our purpose-built community Centre building offer valuable insights and help keep parents informed about school developments and upcoming events.
As part of our school’s supportive environment for all families, these regular PTA Coffee Mornings help parents connect with teachers, NIS leadership, and each other. Coffee Mornings are just one of many ways that parents can get involved in their child's learning at NIS and partner with educators on campus.

At Nanjing International School, community is more than just a word—it's the foundation of everything we do! We’re an inclusive learning community, and this wonderful sense of belonging was on full display at our recent Welcome BBQ, where students, families, and staff gathered to kick off and celebrate another inspiring school year.

The new HUB at NIS, already a fantastic space for student and faculty learning, recently hosted the first ParentED session for our parents. ParentED offers the NIS community greater opportunities to learn more about our innovative approach to international education.

This means war – Tug-of-War, that is! Our first Primary House challenge of 2024-25 was a classic test of endurance, strength, strategy, and teamwork from Pre-K to Grade 5.
