Coffee, Community & Connection
Our first PTA Coffee Morning of the 2026–27 school year brought together a large group of NIS community members for a wonderful start to the year!
Hosted at Skyways @The Centre Café, the morning was a chance for new and returning parents to reconnect, meet our school leadership, learn about what’s ahead, and get to know our new PTA team members as they begin an exciting year of community activities and events.
Over coffee, food, and plenty of conversation, parents shared questions, exchanged ideas, and made new connections – all part of what makes our NIS community such a welcoming place to belong.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our PTA for helping bring our community together. We’re looking forward to many more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and share throughout the year!

NIS Music Camp activities always serve as an important kickoff to the performance season, allowing students to get a sense of the repertoire they will be exposed to during the year and giving new members a chance to get to know their music peers.

Beyond rankings and acceptance letters, NIS Higher Education Night explored what student success really means: helping students build ownership, curiosity, resilience and integrity while discovering pathways that reflect who they are.

Science is rarely confined to a single subject – and neither are the challenges our students are learning to solve!
Our NIS Collaborative Science Project brought together Grade 12 Biology, Chemistry, and Physics students in interdisciplinary teams to investigate real-world scientific scenarios based on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
