A Moment to Remember: Senior Send-off
The NIS community gathered with pride and emotion to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025 during this year’s Senior Send-off. Parents and teachers filled the PAC Foyer, ready with flowers and cameras, while our Grade 12 students prepared for the symbolic procession marking their transition from students to alumni.
This event served as a recognition of their accomplishments both in and beyond the classroom. From personal projects to sports, arts, leadership, and service, the Senior Send-off highlights the many ways these students have contributed to our school community throughout their time at NIS. Adding to the atmosphere of celebration were heartfelt performances from current students and alumni, who came together to honour the graduating class through music and spoken word.
The assembly featured musical performances by the orchestra, reflections from Grade 12 speakers, and a surprise rap that celebrated and thanked the teachers who had supported them along the way. A heartwarming moment came when Grade 1 buddies joined their Grade 12 partners on stage, congratulating them and wishing them well in front of the whole school community.
The week also marked the completion of each student’s Global Citizen Diploma journey. On stage, they received their certificates – representing years of personal growth, reflection, and action aligned with NIS values such as inclusion, international mindedness, and personal excellence.
As Grade 12 walked through campus one final time, cheered on by students of all ages, it was a moment that captured the spirit of the NIS community: one where every learner is seen, celebrated, and supported.
We look forward to celebrating their graduation in May!
